DC socket we need to connect the power when we use it. How can we connect correctly? Today we will introduce the details of this area to you.
The DC socket is a DC socket that can be installed and plugged on the circuit board to connect AC adapters. Because its pins do not match the IC tooth spacing, it can not be directly installed in the 2.54 mm jack of the universal board. It is necessary to drill holes in the circuit board with 1.1-1.6 mm diameter acoustic drill.
If a small drill with a sound of about 1.1mm is preferable, of course, a manual drill can be purchased at a typical shopping mall for about 800 yen to make holes in the circuit board jacks and further widen the holes with pliers and tool knives.
After the opening work is completed, the pin of the socket is welded. When the hole is not welded, bend and fix the DC socket extension pin, surrounded by copper wire (tinned) for welding.
Method for connecting DC socket to power supply
When connecting to an AC (DC) adapter, the polarity of the DC connector socket used must match the polarity indicated by the AC adapter.
Moreover, when the AC adapter is not set for rectification, the output is no longer DC (direct current) but AC (alternating current), where no AC function is used. The nameplate mark of the adapter usually needs to check the contents of the nameplate carefully to confirm the polarity of the pins. The AC adapter center pin used this time is positive, DC socket back-end pin is positive, the center below the lead for the ground wire.
